The Holy Scriptures both Old and New Testaments are the inerrant, inspired and the complete Word of God. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice  (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Jude 1:3).

There is One God eternally existing in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:21-22).

Man is created in the image of God and enjoyed personal communion with Him. Adam disobeyed God. His sin resulted in physical death, but more devastating, spiritual death which is separation from God. Man inherited a sinful nature, becoming wicked in thought, word and deed. God declared mankind to be totally depraved. (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:16-17; Romans 3:10-12, 6:23. 7:18, 11:33; Galatians 3:22).

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is true God and true man, born to die to redeem men back to God. (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:18, 3:16; Philippians 2:5-11).

The Lord Jesus Christ died as the righteous, substitutionary sacrifice for sin. His sinless blood was shed to cover the sins of the whole world. Clearly stated, His sacrifice absolved the sin of each individual person in the world. Those who believe on Him and the truth that God sent Him, are saved from the penalty of sin on the grounds of His perfect sacrifice. Those who do not believe, have no part in his sacrificial work at the cross (Romans 3:24-28; 5:8-10; I Timothy 2:5-6; I John 2:1-2).

The Lord Jesus arose from the dead in the same body in which he was crucified with the distinction being that his resurrection body was completely glorified. His promise to believers is that we will be like him and with him. He ascended into heaven, and is now exalted at the right hand of the Father as Head of the Church (John 20:1-29; Acts 1:9-11; Ephesians 1:20-23; Hebrews 1:3).

On the condition of personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, people are born again by the power of the Holy Spirit. As a result of this new birth, all believers are regenerated: indwelt by the Holy Spirit, baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ, and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Romans 3:24-28, 8:9-11; I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:30).

The Church is the Body of Christ on earth comprised of all who are born again during this age of God’s grace also known as the Church Age. The Church Age began with Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection, and was signified with the seal of the Holy Spirit at the first Pentecost after those events. The Church Age will be terminated when Jesus takes His Church from the earth. That event which will happen in the “twinkling of an eye” is known as the rapture of the believers. Until that moment, the universal church is to gather together as local churches or assemblies after the pattern of New Testament doctrine and practice. The church gathering includes observation of the ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper also known as communion. God performs ministry through the body of believers to whom He has given gifts for the purpose of edifying the Body of Christ and evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; 2:1-47; Romans 12:1-8; I Corinthians 11:23-29; Ephesians 1:17-23).

God performs the ministry of His Church through its members. Believers are sanctified or separated unto God in three ways: positionally by virtue of their union with Christ; progressively through the Word of God, by overcoming the flesh and producing the fruit of the Spirit; and ultimately when Believers will see Jesus face to face. (John 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Jude 3)

The Lord Jesus Christ will come again personally and bodily. He will first come in the air to receive the Church – His Body on earth – unto Himself in heaven. That event is also known as the rapture and will occur prior to a seven year period of great Tribulation unlike any previous catastrophic events the world has ever experienced as foretold by the prophets. The Tribulation will culminate with the visible return of Jesus to earth accompanied by all His saints. The entire world will see Him coming. When His feet touch the Mount of Olives, it will split. He will end all conflicts, remove evil principalities and powers, and inaugurate His millennial kingdom of universal peace and righteousness (Acts 1:10-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:51-58; II Peter 3:1-13; Revelation 9:11-16, 20:1-6).

Both the believer and the unbeliever will be resurrected bodily. The people who have accepted Jesus will be resurrected unto everlasting bliss in the presence of God. After Jesus’ thousand year reign and at the Great White Throne judgment, the people who have rejected God by rejecting His Son, will be consigned to a conscious, everlasting punishment that was created for Satan and the angels that fell with him (I Corinthians 15:1-50; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:22).

Jesus gave a Great Commission to the Church which is the task of evangelizing the whole world in every country and within every generation. Believers are responsible to share the gospel (the good news) that God is not willing that any man should perish in the judgment prepared for Satan and his fallen angels. Jesus himself said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not sent his Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved.”
